Off to the Pacific Northwest

Well, I just got home after dropping off Kelly & Isaac for another first--air travel!!!  Here's a grainy photo from my cell phone of the two of them awaiting to board (Kelly changed the picture because she REALLY, REALLY didn't like the old one).  I have to work this time, so Lord willing I make the next travel operation.  I'll miss them 8-(  

Our prayer is for a great experience for Mom, Isaac and those on the plane.

I hear the weather is excellent out west, so I pray for clear & sunny days.  I can't wait to see a photo of Isaac with Mount Rainier in the background.

Is it Halloween yet?

This outfit has special meaning to me...last summer when I had gone to TN for testing, my Mom and sister came into town to go with me (Marc was deployed).  That in itself made it a special trip, but we also spent a couple extra days touring around.  One of the places that we went was Gatlinburg. We went shopping while we were there and that's where I found this cow outfit.  I just fell in love with it and thought I would buy it and give it to a friend who was having a baby.  In the end, I decided to keep it "just in case" things worked out for us and we were blessed with a baby.  It brought tears to my eyes and warmed my heart when I put Isaac in it yesterday!  It reminded me of the journey we have been through to have him and what an incredible blessing he is.  It is a good thing I put it on him because I had thought it looked so big that I hadn't tried it on him yet.  On a whim, I put it on him and it barely fits...he wore it 2 days in row because of that!:)

Winter Time??

My Mom decided that since that the weather man said it was going to be chilly this morning that I had to put on a jacket...I am not used to these things but she said I looked really cute and she had to take a picture of me...oh Mom!  It turns out that since it took us a while to get out of the house it really wasn't that cold anymore and so Mom took the thing off of me...although we listened to the weather man AGAIN and he said it is going to be cold again tomorrow morning...are we seeing a trend here?

Roll-Over OPS

We have had a fun weekend and have been enjoying the beginning of fall weather.  Marc had a 4 day weekend which was really fun!  We had a good time doing things from a movie night watching "Iron Man" on a big outdoor screen, having dinner with friends, going to a Church picnic and just chilling out.   Isaac did great with it all and is just the cutest little guy!  Here are a couple pics of his newest achievement...we couldn't believe it when he almost got to his tummy!!  His arm seemed to be the thing holding him back from achieving the full roll-over! (FYI..we are having a problem with our camera and we are not sure why some of the pic aren't that clear...they were cute enough that we wanted to post them anyway!)

Isaac's First Kansas City Sleepover

Here's our cool friend Carol.  She had a conference in Kansas City so we made it a point to give her a little Isaac time.  We had a great time catching up with her and Isaac also got his first hotel stay!  He did great...we are so proud of him!  He slept just as good as he does at home and once again 8PM was his magic hour!

Here he is finally giving his first little tickle smile to the camera!  So far the feet and tummy tickling make him smile the most!!:)

Playtime

Here I am playing!  Now that I am getting bigger I am starting to play more and I really like it!  I am not sure what those things are hanging from the thing I play on but I can look at them for a long time!  One of "those things" makes noise when I hit it and I am always surprised when that happens....how fun!  

2 Months!!!

Isaac was 2 months old yesterday and today he had his 2 month check-up!  We have been excited to find out how much he has grown and the stats are in...

he is 12 lb. 14 1/2 oz. and is 25- 3/8" long!  He is one very tall (little) guy....we may have a basketball player on our hands!:)  It's amazing to see this little guy already changing and growing!  

He has been cooing, looking at things and just taking it all in!  We are learning his schedule along with him and he is a pretty regular guy...bedtime at 8PM, up to eat at 2AM (that 6 hours is nice) 

and again about 5AM  and up about 7:30AM.  Nap times aren't quite so regular. Kelly is finding that he doesn't like being anywhere near his bassinet for nap times, but he loves to sleep in the car or on walks.  Marc laughs that God has matched Kelly up with the perfect kid for her since she loves to be on the go too!:)
