Fun day out...

Guess where Isaac and I were off to on this wet afternoon last Tuesday?? (the girls were with a babysitter)

The movies!!  We went to his 1st movie in a movie theater.  We went and saw Cars 2 on the base where Marc works.  Isaac did really well during the whole movie...but do you know what his favorite part was??

THE POPCORN!  He slowly ate each and every piece from this popcorn box....it was very cute! :)

Fall Fun!

Isaac was outside helping Daddy pick up leaves...it's looks really dark in the pictures but the sun had just gone down. :)

Halloween Party

Aren't these the cutest little kittens ever!? :)  Yesterday we went to a Halloween party and had soooo much fun.  We have some great friends that hosted the party and there were a lot of little boys around Isaac's age and he had a blast.  They did everything from yummy "spooky" snacks, bobbing for apples, pumpkin carving, decorating cookies and even "trick or treating."  Here are some fun pics from our evening.

Tu Tu time

Look at what Aunt Brenda made for us!  These cute TuTu outfits!  Isabella really does like it Aunt Brenda, she was just having a moment...it was very close to bedtime. :)

Ava was super excited and in Ava fashion has something fun in both hands.

16 Months

Somehow 15 months came and went and now the girls are 16 months!  These little cutie patooties are doing awesome.  Ava is on the left and has so much hair now...as you saw by the haircut post.  Isabella's hair is slowly but surely coming in.
Ava is our happy girl and almost always has a smile to share...she can also turn on a dime and has a touch of drama in her...we are really going to have to watch out for this one. :)
Isabella is our serious one but once you have earned her approval she can be all smiles too!  They can both be soooo sweet and love to share hugs and kisses.
They just went up to size 18 month clothing and wear a size 4 diaper.  Isabella has bigger feet than Ava and wears a size 4 and Ava is a size 3.

 

They are busy little girls and are going to give Isaac a run for his money once they get a little bigger. :)
Both are fast and getting close to walking!  Because they were premies we are not worried AT ALL that they aren't walking yet....they are so busy and into everything and have no problem walking when you hold their hands.  We thought for sure Isabella would be walking by now but she is taking her time and waiting for Ava to catch up.

Ava is talking up a storm and is saying so many words.  The funniest thing she has repeated so far is "chop sticks."  Both are doing good with signing "all done" and "more."   You know when Isabella is done eating because she shakes her head NO and closes her lips tight.  They are doing great with eating and aren't too picky...there are some foods that they are aren't fans of but it is not a long list and tends to change. They both seem to be protein fans.  They are really good feeding themselves and Ava loves to make a HUGE mess!

They LOVE playing with Isaac's toys and he is continues to adjust to life with TWO little ones always in his space....their favorite place to be is in his room, in his toy basket.

Our girls are so precious and we love to watch them interact.  They share everything and are always passing toys, pacifiers and food back and forth between them.  We have had a tough week with not a lot of sleep because Isabella had her 1st ear infection and we are hoping that she doesn't "share" that with Ava.

Ava has a little stuffed musical giraffe she loves to sleep with and Isabella has a bunny and a little blanket she loves.

Both have a ton of teeth currently coming in...at last count Ava has 5 coming in and Isabella 3.  That will make 10 teeth for Ava and 7 for Isabella.

We are sooooo blessed!!!

Luxembourg...

As you saw from a couple of posts ago my parents were here and we had a great time hanging out with them (and they blessed us by watching the kiddos while we were in NY).  One of the things on our list to do with them was to go to the American Cemetery in Luxembourg.  My Dad's Uncle is buried there.  He was in World War II and died on Dec. 24th, 1944.

It was a beautiful day and the cemetery is very nicely done.  General Patton is even buried here.

Grandpa (Pa Pa...which Ava can say really well)  caught her and she had a fun ride on his shoulders.

After the cemetery we went into the city of Luxembourg and had a nice lunch.

We also went on a trolley tour of the beautiful city but you can tell the kids were getting a little tired and it was hot on the trolley!

After some naps in the car we found this cool castle.  We had a great time touring through it!

It was a super fun and very full day!!  Here's another shot in the Castle and there is Grandma! :)

1st Haircut

Guess who was in need of a haircut?!  Little miss Ava's bangs had been getting long and it was time for an haircut intervention. :)

I claim to have NO knowledge as to how to cut hair...I just went straight across and hoped for the best!

Ava wasn't a big fan and I was a little worried about the end result...but hair grows, right?

It didn't turn out toooo bad...here she is later that day. :)

Travel Ops

It has been a crazy week!  We have lots to catch up on!  Marc and I flew out last Thurs. to go to NY.  We had a great time at his 15 year West Point reunion and we enjoyed hanging out with Marc's parents and brother Jon (who met us there).  After the reunion Marc and I had a couple of days in NY city and had a great time.  Much more to share...

This was one of the many fun parts of the weekend...the Army football game and we won! :)

This is what the kids have been busy doing...playing!  Grandpa & Grandma Haberman have been awesome and the kiddos have enjoyed having them around!

Oil Change Operations

iMan went with Daddy the other day to change the oil.  He always has fun hanging with Daddy doing manly things... (can you spy his Cars backpack? hint--check the right side of the photo)

iMan sat in his chair watching Cars on his DVD player the last time we changed oil...he was way more into the Ops this time as you can see in his smile...what a great little guy!!!
