Bon Voyage Netherlands!

We know that we have been complete slackers!!  All I know is that it feels like I have been through a million boxes in the last couple of weeks.  I have been SOOO busy getting our house unpacked and in order! 

Anyway, we need to do some backing up to really get caught up! So here we go...

Right before we left the Netherlands we had to have one last ice cream run. There is an awesome ice cream place in the town of Brunssum where the NATO base is.  Here are the kids with their favorite ice creams...Ava is a pistachio fan, Isaac is all about chocolate and sweet Isabella is all about vanilla 99% of the time but this day went with "stashio" too! :)

There is a great pond in town too so next it was off to the pond to see the ducks and enjoy some sunny weather!  By the way, the shirt that Ava is wearing is her "lady shirt" and it is her FAVORITE shirt.  Just today she wanted to wear it for the 3rd time this week (and it's only Tuesday!)!

Well...we could say that we tried...but truth is best...we owe a big time catch up...so here is a second effort and with the remaining days of October...Lord help us share what's been happening...

We are still getting settled & the boxes often turn into great play toys...

31 days of catching up!

Oh, yes we have SO much catching up to do!  What a crazy last few months it has been.  We have survived our move to North Carolina and getting settled back into life in America. 

 

October is actually a busy month for us but seems like a perfect time to do a little catch up! 



I might have to adjust how I download my iPhone photos but here are a few fun shots of the girls at Costco.  We are spending some time visiting family enroute to Uncle Jon's wedding!!  Living on the East coast we are finding that is is cost effective to combine trips since almost all our family is on the West Coast! This is "family tour" 2013! :)



The girls found some "Monster University" costumes at Costco to wear for Halloween.  They have never seen the movie but instantly loved the costumes!

Isaac is really, really into dress-up right now so he found this costume and has been wearing it ever since!



Once, again he doesn't know the character (Power Ranger, I think) but he feels like a super hero and that is all that matters!

We are soon off to Southern California to spend time with more family and be part of an incredible wedding...it is going to be a grand time!!!!
