Hello...

Honestly, we haven't completely given up on the blog! We have just been having some serious internet issues. We have been here over a year and still don't have proper internet. :( Currently, I can get on the internet using the data on my cell phone. Since I am posting from my cell phone I can't post any pictures...annoying!
The girls turned 7 last month and Isaac turned 9 a couple of days ago. Marc and I also celebrated 15 years last week. Lots of fun stuff to update on. We're hoping to get our internet worked out & hope to be posting again soon with some awesome pics!!

"Little Bits" Update

So I am determined to get a least one blog post squeezed into April!  What a month it has been!!  The kids finished up term1 at the beginning of April and then with a 2 1/2 week school break and a few additional travel days with friends they were out of school for 3 weeks.  So much fun!!  I thought I would do a "little bits" post of what we have been up to and then do a travel post of our awesome trip to South Australia next. 

This is my favorite part of the day.  School doesn't start till 9 and the kids are usually up by 7 so they always climb into our bed and we have some sweet time snuggling and chatting in the mornings.

It's always a fun time when I get a little extra time with this guy!  He had the morning off after a late night at work and so we got a little run in.  We are training for a half marathon that's only a few weeks away!

This awesome bay is only minutes from our house and the running trails are awesome!  Such a beautiful view!

Our kids can't get enough of this climbing place!

We decided to explore a new market a few weeks ago and it was a fun day.

They were having a little festival and this guy won a couple of prizes...happy guy!

Every time the girls see this trampoline thing they want to go so we finally bit the bullet and stood in the long line and did it...they were both thrilled!

So fun!!

We got the girls scooters for Christmas and they love going on scooter rides!

Marc had to go into the city one Saturday so they all went on the train and got a little scooter time in the big city.
Well, that was a little update on a few bits of things we have been up to!  Happy almost-May! :)

March Update Part 1

Yes, we are long overdue for a update!  Did we tell y'all that we really don't have proper internet at our house?!  We live in a new house and for some reason the cables were never installed to the house.  It has been a challenging process and we are still no closer to getting internet...urghhh! We work off a remote cell phone like connection and it only works about half the time...it makes tasks like uploading photos a million times slower.  It also makes the process of doing a blog post a ton more work...like a need a reason to procrastinate! HA HA! Here are some pics to catch you up....

The term started on February 2nd and here are the kids ready for a new school year.  The girls got scooters for Christmas so they wanted to take them on their first day.

Our kids love this climbing place and they are getting good!

This girl is our fearless one!  She goes up anything and fast!

Isaac is a great climber too!

When they are not at the climbing place they are climbing on playgrounds with friends!

These kids love a good lemonade stand.  On Australia Day this year the kids sold lemonade and brownies!  Always a fun time!

This guy is learning drums in school!

The oldest guy in our family had a birthday! :)

The kids wanted to take Marc to a movie for his birthday and we ended up at this fun theater that is obviously the best movie experience ever (for a kid)!  They have an intermission and the kids can go on this slide.  This chairs are bean bag chairs...fun!

You will often find us these days at the beach.  Nippers is done for the season.  Here is Isabella in the foreground at one of our last nippers.  The kids had a great season!  Can't beat a beautiful beach day!!

Marc took Isaac to a cool car race and they had a great boys weekend!  Here are a few pictures from that...you just want to see the pics anyway! :)

To round out the update is the only picture that Marc and I took of us watching the Super Bowl.  It came on a 9 o'clock on Monday morning so Marc took the morning off and we went to a local hotel with a couple of friends and watched it on the big screen.

New Zealand!!!

Its been way to long without an update!  The kids went back to school yesterday so there are finally some quiet moments to catch up on a few things!  I have had "update blog" written down on my to-do list so its about time to cross that off.
Here are just a few pictures of our awesome trip!  I need to download a ton more from my phone but here is a few pics of our awesome vacation (or holiday as the Aussies say).

We have been dreaming of going to New Zealand for FOREVER.  My awesome friend, Heidi lives there and is married to a Kiwi (Doug) so it was so fun to stay with them and explore just a bit of the north Island.  We MUST go back!
Did you know that there are only about 4 million people in New Zealand but about 30 million sheep!  Here is Isabella at a petting zoo hanging out with one of the many sheep! :)

Here is Ava.  She loved every minute of our vacation!

Heidi has 3 kids as well and our kids had SO MUCH fun with them.  Here is a sweet picture of her daughter Amber and Isaac.

Here is the whole crew (minus the picture taker-me).  Heidi and her family are living with Nana (Doug's Mum) while they build a house so we all got to stay together.  Doris is a wonderful lady who such a gracious hostess!

Now these 2 had a blast together.  Caleb is only a few days older then Isaac and they had so much fun playing together!!

New Zealand is beautiful.  These waterfalls are right by Nana's house.  It is so green there and lush!
Now let's see if I can get a few more pics up in the next couple of days!  We had some really fun day trips including seeing the movie set for the "Lord of the Rings" & "Hobbit" films.
