Mexican Fiesta

We have a mexican place that we like to go here in Leavenworth and it

makes us laugh every time we go because Isaac LOVES guacamole!

This is super funny to us because he doesn't really like plain avocado.

When we eat it at the house he will take a few bites and be done BUT

guacamole he eats by HUGE fork fulls and can eat a whole bowl by himself...I guess he loves the spices that they use! :)

Blessed!

I was incredibly blessed this last weekend with a surprise shower on Sunday afternoon! It was soooo much fun and these little girls in my belly got some pretty great stuff....Mommy too!! :) This is such a wonderful group of precious ladies that I have been blessed to get to know this year. God has provided such sweet fellowship here in Leavenworth.

The ladies that hosted went all out and had such a yummy spread of fruit, cucumber sandwiches, incredibly good red-velvet cupcakes and the most delicious coffee punch and fruit spritzer....thank you Stephanie, Angela, Teresa & Jennifer!!!!

I will be sad to be leaving Leavenworth in just a couple of weeks. Each of these ladies are so special and all will be moving this coming June...oh, the military life! Just to let you know how paths do cross in the military the girl to on my right is Teresa and I know her from when we were stationed together in Italy 6 years ago and the girl next to her is Dena and she took a picture of Marc and me the night Marc proposed to me in Virginia almost 9 years ago...she was his next door neighbor and in the same military course that he was in at the time. It's been so fun to re-connect again!

If you look to the right of the screen you will see on the baby tracker that I am 100 days from my due date. I feel officially huge already and I am excited to see the days on the screen getting smaller. :)

The next step...

Isaac went yesterday and took his potty seat out of the closet and put it on the toilet all by himself. We have started to talk about potty training and maybe Isaac is ready? Marc put Isaac on the seat and took a couple of cute photos:

"Are you kidding me?" Isaac is thinking as we tell him what he needs to do on the seat. :)

He is excited to give it a try...a whole new adventure!

SPRING!

Spring is here and it is beautiful; we are loving it!!! I think some of highlights must be:

-longer, sunnier days

-flip flops

-grilling out

-popsicles (that is also a pregnancy craving)

-blooming trees & flowers

-smell of fresh cut grass

-walking barefoot

What are some of your favorite things??

We spent most of the time outside today and Isaac had a blast! He was all over the place and enjoyed playing ball with the neighbor girl. Here is an Isaac and Mommy pic...

Marc was in class most the day but spent some time with us outside when he got home! We realized that he only has 3 more weekends of class!!! He will then have his business masters degree from the University of Kansas....yip-ee! Isaac is such a great helper these days...Marc pulled the weeds and Isaac was the "thrower-away-man" as you can see the barrel is pretty full.
We have a lot of things coming up in the next few weeks. On May 15th Isaac and I head out to Virginia Beach area. Marc has a course that he has to do this summer and we are going ahead of him since my Dr. wants me to travel no later than 28 weeks. He starts the course at the end of June. Please pray that we find a great Dr.!! My parents are flying out to help me drive out there so please also pray for safe travels.

Easter 3

These pics are "The Egg Hunt & Dinner". :) We were blessed to go to have a fun egg hunt and wonderful dinner at our friends, The Taylors. There were lots of little ones...11 kiddos mostly around the 1 year range. :) Isaac picked up Easter egg hunting quickly and had a great time!

Easter 2

We have so many great Easter pictures that we figure we can split it up over a few days. This first group is "Going to Church". Isaac is mastering going down the stairs all by himself while standing...for a long time he went down the stairs on his bottom but he is teaching himself to be a big boy! He is focusing on his next move! :)

On the way to the car he always loves to grab a few things and this time his "toy" of choice was some sticks....such a boy!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! We had a very blessed day and we hope you did too! Isaac was all decked out today in his Easter best and even kept his hat on for a good portion of the day. We have more pics to share of Isaac's first Easter egg hunt and his cool new frog Easter basket....so be on the lookout tomorrow...HAPPY EASTER!
