camping by Isabella Shafer 5/22/2021

Yesterday we arrived at an Air Force Base campground and set up our tent. The campground is awesome because it is right across from the water. After we set up our tent, we went to the food court. Isaac, my dad, & Ava got Charleys Philly Steaks. Mom and I got rice bowls from Freshëns. When we were done eating, we got a hammock from the BX and left.When we got back we went in to the water, and went kayaking. We also found lots of hermit crabs and little fish. When we swam out into the water, we found a sand bar. Us kids liked to switch places in the kayak while at the sand bar. When we were done swimming we gathered sticks so we could make a fire. It took a while to make it just the right for s’mores temperature. Bythe time we got done with s’mores, we went to bed. The next morning, we had smoothies and Starbucks for breakfast and then headed out down the coast. My dad’s friend owns a restaurant that we went to by the beach called Shunk Gulley. My dad got oysters and my mom got crab salad that we all shared. Ava and I also shared an avocado bacon club sandwich, and Isaac got a corn dog and mac & cheese. After staring at the beach we finally walked on the hot sand and then drove back to the campground. We had such a great time in and out of the water. 

NASA ROCKET AND SPACE CENTER. 5/22/2021 By Ava Shafer

 A few days ago we went to NASA’S Rocket and Space Center. When we got there we went to an Apollo 11 VR show.  Next we went to a surprise that my parents had planed. The surprise was tumble trainer. A tumble trainer is a series's of hoops with a chair in the middle. Once you are in the chair in the middle one of the staff will start the machine. The machine starts out slowly spinning you then it gets a lot faster. The machine spins you up, down and side to side. It was a super fun surprise. Next we went outside to a ride they had out there. The ride was called G force. G force is when you are going so fast that your body wait increases by whatever number of G force you are going. The ride is about G 3 to 4. Later we went to the museum. At the museum there are lots of interactive exhibits. Next we bought a few things from the gift shop then left. We had an AWESOMELY AWESOME time. THE END.

Legoland by Isaac

 On the 14th of April we went to Legoland Florida. It was awesome because at Legoland everything is awesome. We first did the Battle of Bricksburg it was awesome! We got soaked on that ride. Luckily we dried off while waiting in line to go on the Masters of Flight. My favorite ride was the Great Race, it was meant to be a virtual reality roller coaster but the goggles were broken. My second favorite one was Ninjago the Ride. Where you basically hit the targets but your hand was the thing that shoots stuff so it was pretty easy. 

Those were the rides we went on on the first day but the day after that, we also went to the water park. We were going to do the biggest slides first but at first they were not open yet, so we did the wave pool. The wave pool wasn’t deep enough to cannon ball in but it was still pretty fun. After the wave pool, we went on one of the smaller slides and then the “build a raft” lazy river. Which was where you are on a tube and you grab blocks and put them on the tube. So after that I ate a hotdog and then one of the bigger slides was open. The two slides were called the twin turbines and they were the second biggest set of slides. After a bit, the biggest slides were open and I did those before the water park closed. There was still an hour before Legoland closed and we did a few more rides.

Overall the experience at Legoland was really fun, so until next time this is Isaac and we are out.

Hershey Pennsylvania Isabella, 12/5/2021

 Today we went Hershey Pennsylvania🍫. We got tickets and went in. First we got passes for a Hershey 4D short movie 🎥 .The movie wasn’t till 12:15,so we went on a ride tour of the making process  🏭.then we went to the 4D movie. It was based on a sour guy trying to steal there recipe...the characters were Hersey( a Hershey bar ), Rees ( a Reese’s), Twizzl ( a Twizzler ) , and kiss ( a  Hershey kiss). When it ended we got a mega pretzel, and my mom got chili. We walked around a little bit and then hit the road !

Boston by Isaac

Hello this is Isaac and today I am going to talk about our visit in Boston. On Saturday we woke up, had breakfast (we were staying at a hotel), and headed to Boston. At Boston, we first went to a park and saw some protesters for Tigray—the northernmost region in Ethiopia (a country in Africa). They were protesting about starvation that’s happening in Tigray. The reason we saw that was because my mom wanted to get some coffee from Starbucks. 

Later we went on a walk named The Freedom Trail that started at Boston Commons and ended at Bunker Hill. It got its name from the American Revolution in 1775. On the trail we saw some street performers doing really cool things. They were doing flips and walking while only using there hands. It was really cool. After we got some food I got a huge piece of Naan Bread and I ate it all. After that my Dad decided to go move the car to the end of the trail, because the parking meter ended, and we continued the trail.

We next went to a Holocaust Memorial place which had some quotes of survivors. I learned a lot. Then we finished the trail at Bunker Hill. There was so much history on the walk. It was good and interesting. So until next time this is Isaac and we are out.

Places We’ve Been by Isaac

 Yo this is Isaac and I’m going to tell you about the places we have been to. The first one I will talk about is Nevada. Most of my Dad’s side of the family lived there.So there was no reason not to go. There was lot’s of skateparks there which was Awesome. The next place is San Diego which also had lots of skateparks. We Stayed there for about 2 weeks. It was my favorite place on the trip so far. Next we rode a roller coaster in Las Vegas. Then we stayed in Arizona for a month. Now we are in Texas. This year has been Awesome!   

3/19/2021 Adventuring Austin Texas. By Ava Shafer

 Yesterday, we went to Austin Texas. It took an hour and a half to get to Austin from where we were staying on the Colorado river. When we got there we went to a Tex mex restaurant named Reunion 19. We got asada fries, chips, salsa and guacamole. The guacamole was AWESOME 😎. Next we went to Zucchini Kill. I got a s’mores cupcake so did Isaac and Isabella. My dad got a German chocolate cupcake and my mom got a waffle moon pie (everything was GF). Then we went to Trader Joe’s. and walked along a river and went to this cool park. The park had this big climbing rope structure, we also went to a skatepark. I went all the way to the top.we had such an AWESOME day in Austin!!!

3/11/2021 White Sands National Park By Ava Shafer

Two days ago we went to White Sands National Park. It is a place where there is white sand instead of  normal tan sand and there are these big sand dunes and you can sled down them. We started out with cardboard sleds then we upgraded to plastic sleds that you can buy at the gift shop. We also bought some wax from the gift shop. The wax helped a lot. We went so fast. It was so EPICLY AWESOME. We stayed to watch the sunset 🌅. The sand at White Sands National Park is not actually sand it is a mineral named Gypsum. The Gypsum dunes did not get hot because Gypsum dose not absorb heat. We had an AWESOME day at White Sands National Park.🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃

Texas seaside campground, by Isaac

Yo, this is Isaac and we just arrived at a camp near the seaside. The camp has so much stuff. there’s a pool, a hot tub, a lazy river, and a pickle ball court. They don’t have any campfires right now, but they said they had some on hold. 

Yesterday evening after we setup our trailer we went to the lazy river. We brought the boogie board and an inner tube was already there. The place was awesome! After that me and my mom went to the hot tub.

Today We are going to go to the beach. Until next time this is Isaac and we are out.

My view of surfing by,Isabella 2/17/2021

 Last weekend we went to Dana Point, CA. When we got there, we ate some lunch🥪, and then rented a surfboard for an hour⏱. At first it was for my brother, but I squeezed in the second half. The boys rented wetsuits, but I just went in the ocean with my regular swim suit, because who needs one🤨. When I got on the surfboard, I got quite a few good waves and even stood up. While this was happening, Ava and Mom sat watching us in the sand. After we left the beach, we went to Pepi’s Sports Bar and Grill to watch the Super Bowl. They had a huge wall screen of the game. Between the three of us kiddos, we shared wings🍗 and deep fried Oreos.Which was pretty much like an Oreo rapped in dough. We had such a fun day, I hope I can surf agin some time soon.🏄🏼‍♀️

Dog blog —> I ♥️ Italian “BMT” 😋 By, Isabella 2/17/21

A couple of days ago I had an awesome lunch... Isaac’s Subway “BMT” sandwich. Though my owners weren’t very happy about it. At first I didn’t know how they would notice, but I kinda left some evidence!!!

OOPS!

There are lots of rabbits where we are at so I haven’t been able to get much sleep,💤 but my owners didn’t like when I stepped on them in the night to try to see a rabbit so they put me in the car, but that did not stop me.

From Palm Springs to Arizona was like 4 hours. Which was quite a long time considering there were no rabbits 🐇 to look at. I am pretty sure I made it kinda hard to do what ever they were doing, but I wasn’t going to move. I love trailer life!!!!
