Chillin' in KC

Here are Daddy and I at this really cool water wheel in Kansas City.  Mommy and Daddy decided it was time to check out some new places in KC.  We have gone to Costco a lot (they really seem to like those free samples) but we decided to go to City Market this time (which is a farmer's market).  There was lots of yummy food around (so they told me) and lots of nice people that love to see babies! We had lunch at a Vietnamese place right at the market and I was curious about those funny sticks that people were eating with...I am not quite ready to master that skill!  Mommy keeps telling me that I need to focus when I eat these days because I am becoming more and more curious with the outside world and I get distracted easily!:)

Here are Daddy and I again...check out my new super warm winter jacket.  We stayed the night in KC.  #2 night in a hotel!  Mommy had wanted to do some shopping and KC has every store you could want to go to!  They told me I was a trooper because I was having fun going to the stores. Daddy had me in the carrier and I was just smiling and talking to everyone and if I wasn't doing that I was sleeping!  Mommy was excited because they were having great sales and I have some pretty cool new outfits for when I am a little bigger!

Turkey Run!

So we began the day today (Sat.) with the Turkey 2-miler!  We had a lot of family fun.  We even won a turkey!! Since we were ACTUALLY on top of things and already bought a turkey we had fun giving it away.  Here are a few fun pictures from the start of the day...after this we were off to chillin' in KC...:)

Here is the little guy hanging out in the car before the run.  He was wearing his new Puma jogging suit from Aunt Brenda....thanks Aunt Brenda it is sooooo cute on him!

Extreme Makeover Home Edition

Marc and "our little reindeer" in front of the main house that they are building...they have quite a few projects going on in the town of Chapman.

So Chapman is basically the town next to us and it was hit with a horrible tornado in June. What my memory is of the storm is that I was pretty pregnant and Marc and I were watching TV on the couch...well, I was...Marc was sound to sleep (it was pretty late)!:) I heard the tornado sirens go off so I turned on the news channel and they were saying "if you live in Junction City get under cover NOW!"  So we ran to the bathroom (we don't have a basement and it is the only room without windows).  It is a little bathroom....so we were in there and Marc had somehow grabbed a snack on the way...only Marc! So he is basically sitting in the sink snacking away and I was on the toilet praying!!:) Somehow the tornado skipped over us but hit the next town in it's trail...those tornado's are CRAZY!  Anyway, the city of Chapman was basically wiped out so Extreme Makeover Home Edition is doing a lot for the city this week.  We went over today to see the process and it is amazing all that they are doing!  It was a very cold day so we bundled up our little guy! The warmest thing that we have for him right now is a reindeer outfit.:)  He was pretty warm but many of you know the wind is crazy here in Kansas so we really couldn't stay out too long.  We walked around the town and looked at all the work they are doing...I am going to try to go back on Tuesday for the "reveal".

The Cold Weather is Here!

It has gotten cold here in Kansas...especially since just over a week ago it had been 80 degrees! It is now time to pull out the cold weather gear and that means buying some for Isaac.  This is a hat that we found over the weekend. Isaac was having a hard time deciding how he felt about the hat!  He was asleep about 2 minutes after this picture was taken so I guess he figured it wasn't to bad!  :) 

The Roll-Over Craze is On

So today was a terrific day!  Veteran's Day in fact!!!  In celebration of veterans and their sacrifice, I sought out freedom of movement and overcame the stationary back lifestyle.  Thank you Veterans!!!!!  This roll is for you 8-)

I kept doing this all day long.  Here's what I did when Daddy came home from work.  What do you think?  Having mastered this side, is it time to work on the other side?

This is what I was suppose to be for Halloween!

Here I am in my Penguin outfit!! This is what I was suppose to be for Halloween but Mommy ordered it on-line at the store "Children's Place" and they didn't get it to her in time!  She ordered it in time "but because of high volume of orders" (which they never even bothered to email her about) it didn't get to me till just now (Mommy had it shipped to Grandma Nadine's in Port Orchard and she had to sent it to us in Kansas).  If it wasn't sooooo cute on me Mommy probably would have sent it back BUT with a red scarf with it maybe I could wear it for the holidays...it sure is warm!:)

Halloween (I think we are caught up from the trip)

Here I am at Halloween!  We went to Uncle Doug and Aunt Victoria's and I got to meet them and my cousins Cameron and Anna!  We had a family party and it was fun.  I went Trick or Treating for the first time but I didn't get to eat any of my candy...do you think my Mom is saving it for me?!:)

Here is my Aunt Brenda...did my Mom already mention that we had a surprise baby shower for her?  I got to go too and meet all the fun ladies!

Here is Uncle Doug, Cameron, Anna and Aunt Victoria.  Cameron was a Ninja so it is hard to see him and Anna was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.  My Great Aunt Linnea, My Mom and I got the ruby red shoes for her at the Oz Museum when Linnea was visiting us in Kansas.  Anna loved them so much that she fell asleep with them on (because she wouldn't take them off ) when she first got them!!

Cousin Time

Here's my Aunt Brenda and she is going to have a baby!  Here is what I told the little guy or girl!

"Hey in there little cousin! I can't wait to meet you. We are going to have lots of fun together and I can't wait to see you in Feburary!"

Bath Times @ Grandma & Grandpa Haberman's

Here are a couple of my bath times at Grandma & Grandpa Haberman's.  My mom was telling me that she took a bath in the same sink when she was my size!  I really enjoy bath times these days and was chillin' pretty good in that sink!!

Port Townsend

Here are pictures from the first part of our trip.  Isaac is in the stroller (although you can barely see him because he is wearing blue) with Grandma & Grandpa Haberman.  We were in Port Townsend, WA and it was a BEAUTIFUL day!  The first 3 days in WA it was sooooo pretty...then it rained!:)

3 months!

Can you believe it?! I am now 3 months old!  Here I am at my Grandma & Grandpa Haberman's house in Port Orchard (the Seattle area) and I had a great week visiting them.  The highlight of the week was a surprise visit from Aunt Brenda!!!  She came all the way from Washington DC to hang out with us.  We have more pictures to show you but Mommy wanted to get this picture up since I have now been 3 months old for a whole 5 days now!:)

Isaac's HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
