A day in the life...

I thought I would share a little "day in the life" from today.  It will be fun to look back and see what we were up to in this stage of life.  We are now 7 months into being here and getting into a good routine for the most part.  This is a cute pic of Isaac on a low key morning over spring break.  He is really into getting his picture taken these days.

The kids just had a 2 week Spring Break so that threw us off a little (although, it was nice to have a break).

Tuesday is a day that they are all in school.  The girls go to a 3's preschool class on Tues/Thurs  from 8:30-11:30 & Isaac goes to PreK everyday from 8:30-12:15.

These pics were also from spring break.  The girls are REALLY into their blankets and stuffed animals right now....like they try to take them everywhere.

The kids were up at about 7:15.  Once one is up, they are all up.  We get dressed pretty quickly and head downstairs.  I make up their snacks, get them some breakfast and throw on some workout clothes myself and we are out the door.  The mornings are quick and there is no messing around. :)

We were at school by 8:20 this morning.

From 8:20-11:30 I get things done!  I came back this morning and cleaned up the house, checked a few things online and then went for a run.  Tues/Thurs is my outdoor running days.

I get the girls by 11:30 and then we have 45 min. to kill before Isaac is done.  Thankfully, there is a store near the school so we usually run in there to get some items we might need.  Tonight chili was on the menu and I needed beans. :)

I get Isaac at 12:15 from school and we come back here and have lunch, play and then nap (also, I got the chili in the crock-pot).

The girls still nap from about 2-4 daily (hallelujah!).  Isaac and I usually do an art project, he might watch a cartoon & we might go outside and play (& I have been doing yard work). Today I got to chat with my sister, Brenda for a bit! :)

Today was suppose to be soccer day for the girls from 4-4:45 but it got cancelled due to horrible weather...the girls were not bummed at all.  They really wanted to do these soccer lessons and now seem less then excited.  We have a make-up day tomorrow afternoon so hopefully it will go well.  Actually, Isabella seems more into to it then Ava so we will see how all this plays out.

Since we were stuck inside because of the rainy weather I painted nails.  They were thrilled!  This is the fun nail polish they got from Grandma June.  Ava wanted to "smile big" for this pic.

From about 4-6 we goofed off and of course called Grandpa Gary to wish him HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!  the girls even sang him the "Happy Birthday" song!

During this time Isaac decided he wanted to be a band leader.  He makes really good hats!!  He always comes up with the most creative things.  He went out on the front porch for a while and "played" for the neighborhood. :)

At about 6 I finished getting dinner ready and the kids watched some cartoons.  Marc got home around 7ish and we had our chili.  :)

8:00 is bath and bed.  Marc is super Dad and always does baths...he rocks! :)

Now is Mommy and Daddy chill out time...we try to get into bed by 11.  We have a couple of shows that we have been watching lately so sometimes we get to bed later than we should. :)

It's a good stage and we feel blessed!

Randomness

Marc says I am the queen of "random" so every post should be titled this!  News flash: we are onto fish JoJo #2 already.  The first one died of an what appeared to be an infection??!!  The kids are handling it well....

This is Isabella under the desk in our office.  Unbeknownst to us she had gotten the camera off our desk and started taking pictures.  I later found these when I downloaded the camera.  Note to Isabella: Never take a selfie if you don't want to get caught. :)

She actually got a couple decent shots.  this is the view from under the desk into the foyer.

Look at those adorable legs and Barbie shoes.  Those are special shoes because her and I went on a special shopping trip after the drama of losing her front tooth and got these.  She calls them her "teeth shoes".

This little guy has the best imagination.  We watched a cartoon where a kid set up a restaurant for his parents and sure enough Isaac loved the idea and recreated it for us.  It was a day that we actually had awesome weather so he set up his restaurant outside.

It was a perfect night to get the bonfire going and roast hotdogs and then marshmallows for dessert! :)

The kids are on spring break so we went with some friends from school to this awesome kids museum.  I didn't get many pictures but this one of Isabella is really cute.  They had awesome hands on things for the kids to play with.  They got to shot balls though the windows of this building...like they were firemen shooting water into the windows.

We are still on spring break. The weather is driving me nuts...literally it is in the 70's one day and 30's the next!  Come on spring...stay for a little while! :)

Night Of The Arts

The kids school had a little art presentation tonight.  Each student had one piece of art up in a schoolwide viewing.  :)  It was very cute and the kids loved seeing their art.  Check out our little artists!

Here is Ava with her angel.  They have been looking at famous pieces of art in art class. Each piece they have done has been influenced by the artist they have studied.  

Isabella was SOOO proud of her piece!

Isaac's was placed way up high so he is pointing at it.  Isaac loves art!
