Happy New Year's Eve!

WOW 2009 is almost over! Crazy! We have had a very blessed year full of unexpected changes including moving to a new city. :) We can't wait to see what 2010 has in store...I think it is going to be another big year with another move in store! :)

Here are a few more pictures of our time in Jackson Hole. We are here until tomorrow and then it is back to Kansas. Isaac has been having fun and been so bundled up half the time (it has been sooooo cold) he is not sure what to do!! :)

Santa & Isaac

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! We had a fun day filled with laughter and watching our little guy playing with everything from his cool new balls to the awesome drum set that Uncle Jon got him...fun times!!

We have found that Isaac isn't much a fan of Santa this year. This 1st picture with Santa is from a Christmas party that we went to with Marc's class at Leavenworth....he is not a happy camper!

This picture is from Christmas night here in Jackson Hole when Santa stopped by our cabin....it didn't go too much better! :)

All is well in this picture as long as Santa is not looking at Isaac and he can't see that red dressed man! :) Isaac is loving being around his Uncles!

Merry Christmas Eve!!!

We hope y'all are having a wonderful Christmas eve! We are in Jackson Hole, WY with Marc's family and as I type this I have a crystal clear view of the Tetons! It is beautiful and we are enjoying a white Christmas!! I have a great Santa pic of Isaac but I will have to share it tomorrow. Here are a couple of pics from over the weekend. Isaac is getting to be such a big boy and he is such a wonderful blessing. We have lots to be thankful for this Christmas!!!

Marc took Isaac to the library the other day and Isaac was having fun checking out the water fountain.

Snow days!

Last week we had some really cold days and SNOW! It was really fun to play out in it....since it was cold we didn't stay out too long but it sure was fun!

When Daddy got home from work he took me out to play a little more! ( I did have gloves on for a few minutes but I sure didn't like them!)

We thought about touching our tongues to the pole but Daddy decided it wasn't the best idea..haha! :)

Thanksgiving!

Now that we are having a couple snow days...it's time to get a little more caught up! :) Here are some pics from Thanksgiving. We decided to do something different and go to the InterContinental Hotel in Kansas City for their Thanksgiving dinner. It is a beautiful hotel in a great part of town called Country Club Plaza...the reason we went there is that they have a Christmas lighting of the ENTIRE plaza and a fireworks show on Thanksgiving. The fireworks are based out of the InterContinental so we had great seats! :) It was really fun and we really enjoyed the yummy food, the great fireworks and not having to do dishes was a plus too! :)

It was a great time and we have so much to be thankful for!!!!

The Upshaws come to town!

We had a special treat of having our friends, Kyle and Amy Upshaw & their 1 year old son Henry stop by and see us. They were on their way to Colorado, where Kyle is doing some training. We were able to have dinner together at Outback, and then they and their dog Zeke all stayed at our house. We have a very small house right now so Zeke was forced to sleep in the hallway but all was super fun...Thanks for the visit...we can't wait to come visit you in Colorado! :)

Isaac was enjoying his new friend Henry. They look a lot alike and could definitely pass for brothers!

The great catch up...family time

We had a wonderful time hanging out with Grandpa Gary, Grandma Nadine, Aunt Brenda and Josiah the 1st week of November! They came just because we hadn't seen them in a while and it was like an early Thanksgiving! :) We were so excited that they made the trip out to Kansas to see us!!

It is so much fun to see Isaac and Josiah together. With only a 6 month age gap we hope they continue to be great friends! :) Now that Josiah is crawling he isn't so much of a "speed bump" for Isaac to run over! :)

Grandpa was walking all around with Isaac. We went to the World War I museum in Kansas City and it was a great time...it is a really well done museum, if you are ever coming through KC you need to check it out.

Josiah turned 9 months while he was here and I just love this picture of him!

Josiah was a bear for Halloween and since they came a day after Halloween Aunt Brenda brought his costume to show us.....we think he is the cutest bear ever!!! Thanks for coming to visit!!!

The great catch up...Noe's wedding

In October we went to a wedding here in Leavenworth. Ready for the puzzle of how we know them....we are good friends with a guy named Kyle who went to West Point with a guy named Jordan. Well, they are good friends and so we have become good friends with Jordan and have hung out with him a lot...Waffle House anyone?? We even went to Jordan's wedding at West Point almost 2 years ago. Jordan's sister's name is Noe. Noe and Marc know each other from when Marc went to West Point. Jordan and Noe's Mom was stationed at West Point and so Marc knew Noe through Young Life. Complicated yet?? Well, anyway, Noe now lives here in Kansas City and has done a lot with Club Beyond (Young Life) here at Fort Leavenworth. Hence, the wedding was at her friend's beautiful older house in town and we were able to attend and catch up with her and Jordan! :) It was a beautiful outdoor wedding and a beautiful ceremony.

The great catch up...Arizona

Mommy and I went to Arizona in October and had such a wonderful time visiting Todd, Julie, Alivia, Andrea, Sophia and Joel. Julie and my Mommy have been the most awesome-est :) of friends since 7th grade (WOW) and have so many fun memories together...they had a great time laughing and catching up! I had so much fun with Alivia, Andrea, Sophia & Joel. Sophia especially was my little babysitter and was LOVING holding my hand and helping me walk...this was like a month ago so I was still a little wobbly walking at the time :).

Catch up

Sorry that we have been "out of the net" but we have been CRAZY BUSY over here! I want to get a whole bunch of new posts up over the next few days but I wanted to get a few more pics from the Veteran Day Parade....

#1 Fiji H2O Fan & Veterans' Day 2009!!!

OK, so it was a successful parade for me. I liked all the cool cars and all the cheering Americans & world-wide lovers of service, peace, and sacrifice. One of the main things that kept me going was the Fiji H2O that my Dad put in my sippy cup. I must give a shout out to my Uncle Jon who got me hooked on the cool, refreshing, artesian stuff when Mommy wanted to mix up my eating program early on with a formula blend. Enough of that...I'm way BIG now and love all things Army, Airforce, Navy, Marine, Coast Guard, and protector-of-freedom oriented.
