A day in the life of Isaac and Mommy

I took this video if Isaac yesterday. I just love how well he is saying "Mommy" and a whole handful of other words. One of his favorite things to do is to say 1,2,3...go and run! It doesn't sound like that is what he is saying at first because his version sounds more like eins, zwei, drei....go! He is just getting ready for our European adventures beginning in the fall! :)

Seattle times!

Well, I meant to get these pics up sooner but something about being pregnant with twins has sucked any energy I once had. :) I am now 14 weeks and in my 2nd trimester so I am hoping for some energy back SOON.

Our trip to Seattle was great and we were blessed to spend some time with our Aunt Kathy before she passed away this last week. She is going to be soooo missed!!! We all loved her so much and I can't imagine a family party without her great laugh and spunk.....we love you Aunt Kathy!!!

One of the other things we did in Seattle was celebrate the many birthdays we have had in our family recently. Our nephew Cameron turned 7 years old while we were there, Josiah turned 1 on the 4th of Feb. ,Victoria's b-day is tomorrow (the 8th) and Brenda's birthday is on the 15th. We had a fun birthday party for everyone and the kids especially had a great time!

We had to make cakes for everyone! YUMMY!

Grandpa & Grandma were thrilled to be around all their grandkids.

The kids were having a great time eating at the table my Dad used as a kid...we have a picture of my Dad's 1st birthday party and he is standing at this table with his cake in front of him...it's old! :)

This guy is 7 years old now...can't believe it!!! We made him is own cake and he was loving it!

18 months

Dear little guy a.k.a iMan,

We can't believe that you are already 18 months old! The time has gone by so fast. We love you soooooo much and can't believe how blessed we are by you. You have been up to so much the last few months and we haven't been as good at blogging about it. You are such a little boy in so many ways and you are not a baby anymore. Most mornings you wake up and start "talking" in your crib. You are so content to hang out for a while and when we come get you, you stand up and are ready for the day. You sleep a consistent 12 hours a night and most days sleep from 8-8. What a huge blessing that is! You are a great eater and pretty much eat all day long. If someone wants to be your friend they just need to share their food with you and you are a fan. For all that you eat you are still slender and tall. You are starting to say more and more words. You use some sign language and have been signing "all done" "thank you" "milk" "please"and "more" for a while now...it has been so helpful. You are now saying words like "owl"....it is funny how much you love saying that word. You also say a handful of other words and it is soooo cute...the only word that hasn't been as cute is the word "NO." You like to use it A LOT and over and over again. :) You have so much spunk and personality. You are running everywhere you go and we call you the "machine" because nothing slows you down. You LOVE playing and you have yet to like reading...we try so hard but most of the time the book becomes a toy and ends up thrown across the room, until yesterday when you sat on Daddy's lap very nicely. :) We know the next 6 months are going to bring more wonderful things including...you being a BIG BROTHER!! Are you ready for twins?? Their due date is one day after yours was...Aug. 6th!!!
