Pirate Birthday Ops - Treasure Map

So here's how the Pirate Captain's Birthday Eve started...

THE MAP...when we do our nightly devotions, there is a date at the top and we have been doing a count down from January to July...so tonight he asked the date "29 July" and his response was that his birthday was 30! So we added the dates to his Treasure Map getting from 29 July to 30 July :)

He asked me to take a picture of him hiding his map :)

A couple of things....

There have been a couple of HUGE things that have kept us from blogging much. 1) My hard drive on my computer CRASHED 2) Did we tell you yet that we are moving?  Fort Bragg, NC here we come...August 2013.

Life has been a little insane!  Our Dutch house has been packed up and the movers loaded the final boxes on the truck yesterday.  The kids were having a blast in a empty house!  Check it out:

We needed to get out of the house and so we ventured to our local park that is beside a castle...Here's a taste of the what happened in between eating and more time at the park...Enjoy :)

Katsup or rather Catchin' Up

We blew through the Fourth of July Weekend...But we want to share a little of what's been on our hearts & in our lives...Because we care about you and keeping our kids in mind...

Days before our trip to Croatia, we decided to do the Stein Sprint Triathlon...actually this was one of our New Year's Resolutions and we both had wanted to do a triathlon for a while :)

Being in NATO has particular quirks...like working on the Fourth of July :) So after work, Kelly suggested I take the kids for outside time & there was something going on in our town...Of course, kids need ice cream to get things going, right?

And of course if there are rides...Get Ready!

 And the Hotel had Kids' Club, so mommies & daddies could adventure as well...
