HOW ABOUT SOME GARDEN TIME!!??

A few weeks ago we were at the dollar store and we picked up some seeds.  Our awesome rental house already had the planting beds so we just needed to get on it!
The kids each got to pick a flower and a vegetable packet.
Here they are ready to plant!

They are really into making silly faces right now...funny, huh!?

Here is Isaac with his green beans.  They are his favorite veggie to eat!

What is also entertaining is this little guy's imagination!  I never know what is coming next!!

First day & last day!

Here is the 1st day of school for the kiddos!  We flew here from the Netherlands on Saturday...we toured the school on Monday and the kids went to school on Tuesday!  It was a world wind but I do think it helped us adjust quicker to being here. The kids have had an incredible year and we have loved the school they are at!

The kids really have a ton of fun together...we are blessed!

Here they are on the last day of school (yesterday...may 22nd)!  They have grown soooo much!  What do you think? Ava wanted Elsa hair for school (it's a character in the new disney movie "Frozen") and so she has a side braid.  Isaac wanted to hold the sign and the girls are also wearing new outfits that I let them pick out at the store.  It is getting hot here and they are quickly outgrowing most of their current clothes so we did a little shopping this week! :) They picked out the same outfit all on their own...they really like the same things so it makes it easier these days when they have similar clothes!

Isaac was unsure of the fun that Ava and Isabella were trying to have!  Issac is off to kindergarten in August and the girls have another year of preschool!
*A little new flash from here is that I will be teaching art at their school next year.  I will be working mornings and be off by 12:30 when the kids are off!  God is good because it is the perfect job for a Momma with small kiddos! :)

A steeplechase to remember...

Marc wrote the last blog post when I was in Seattle visiting my Uncle Rocky.  My dear uncle passed away a week ago and he couldn't be more missed!  He was the best Uncle and biggest cheerleader!!  He has meant so much to me in my life and has been such a huge influence on me...we love you and miss you uncle Rocky!!!  
He was a reader of this little blog so we will always think of him when posting pics of our family.  Here are some pictures of us just for you...

THE HORSE RACES

This is an event that I told my Uncle Rocky about and we laughed that next year I needed to get a HUGE hat to wear to it!  This is the typical southern event where most ladies wear cute sundresses and big hats while the guys pull out the seersucker suits. :) It was a great time with lots of fun people watching and some fun steeplechase races to watch! Isaac brought his "rose bowl horse" from Uncle Jon.

We went with some sweet friends that have 2 girls so our girls were having a great time exploring with them!

It was a beautiful day and the horses were so fun to watch!

There was tons of tailgating...look at the one that won first place for best theme....a pirate ship!

They even had games that the kids LOVED...although Ava may not look like it at this exact moment.  They had prizes too!  Seriously, this was the best event EVER! :)

It was a super fun day with our friends & sweet kiddos!
