2020 CHRISTMAS IS COMING by Isabella

 Christmas is coming and we just got on winter break. What is better than Christmas and no school?Literally...Nothing- so I am so exited!!! 4 days till Christmas🎄❄️and we’ve we decorated all around the house and it just keeps getting better. It’s been so fun spending time with our grandparents and cousins. I’m so exited to finally see some rain.🌧 We have our presents under the tree, and I’m even more excited. I’ve also been making lots of sweets with my sister, Grandma, and Aunt 🍪 I can’t wait for Christmas!

2020.12.21 Having fun with our cousins! By Isaac Shafer

 We are in Washington having fun with our cousins. I stayed one night at their house and they stayed three nights at grandma’s with us. We picked up Josiah and Cash in the morning and stayed there for a bit. Then we went to grandma’s house. We played the Nintendo Wii. The next day we went to the skatepark and I started practicing tailwhips. We went to two skateparks- the Gig Harbor and Port Orchard skatepark. Then we went home and played Mario kart. The next day they went home. I can’t wait for the next time I see them.

December fun By Ava Shafer

The past week we have been in Washington with our Grandma and Grandpa.

A couple days ago we went to go cut down our Christmas tree 🎄. We went to a Christmas tree lot and cut down a Christmas tree. When we got home we decorated the tree. It was so fun decorating the tree 🎄. We have also hung candy canes on the the tree. We have put presents under the tree as well. I just can’t wait for Christmas 🎄. We have been wrapping and baking a lot.

 I am writing a recap of the trip. We left Washington on the 13th of August 2020 and our first stop was the skatepark. Then we stayed at a farm for a night. The next night we stayed at a miniature train museum. Next we go to Lake Tahoe  to visit family. There we go to the skatepark get gelato and go on a bike ride.Then we went to San Diego their we went to the Legoland hotel. San Diego had lots of skateparks. Overall San Diego was my favorite place. Next we went to Las Vegas. The strip lights were great there but its not that appropriate. My favorite part of Las Vegas is Hershey's chocolate world. Then after Las Vegas we went to Arizona to visit some friends. We also checked out Sedona in Arizona. So that leaves us to where we are. Heading to Washington for Christmas. I can not wait for Christmas!

11/28/20 Arizona. By Ava Shafer

 For the last two weeks we have been in Arizona. We have been staying in Verde Vally. It has been so fun because I really like the cacti 🌵 and it is so pretty. Did you know that each arm on a cactus means it is around hundred years old. We have been staying near Sedona, and have gone there a couple of times. Our camp ground has a hot tub and an ice cold pool. It was ice cold because they didn’t turn the heater one cause it was winter. We went in the hot tub quiet a bit at night because it got really cold at night and in the morning. We have been having so much fun.Roxy has also been having a good time with all the new smells.

 

2020.11.07 The Roller coaster in New York New York by Ava Shafer 11/7/20

A couple of days ago we went on the Big Apple Roller Coaster in New York New York. It was fun. At first you go straight up and then straight down. Isabella and Isaac were in the front row me and dad were in the second row. You could see so much from up on the Roller Coster. My mom walked Roxy the dog around while we went on the Roller Coaster. At one point in the roller coaster you do a loop de loop. It reminded me of the incredicoaster at Disneyland. 

2020.11.07 A fun day in Las Vegas by Isabella Shafer

 Last Thursday we went to the mirage.where they have We got to see,2 lions,4 tigers,One black Panther, and a cheetah. They were so fun to watch and play. The people that work there must’ve put something on the rocks and the stumps that they had,because they could not stop licking it. After the tigers we saw some dolphins. They licked to play with the ball ALOT. We also got to see a fun training session from above and below. They can do lots of tricks like flips and spinning around with a water ring around it’s rostrum Witch is basically it’s mouth. How do you tell if its a boy or a girl? I’ll tell you on the boys underbelly it looks like an exclamation  mark and the girls have a side ways division symbol. A good way to remember that is the girls are good at math and the boys get exited. After we left it was straight to the New York New York roller coaster. I was so excited to go I switched my shirt to my flip love heart shirt, because I love roller coasters!when we first got on I was so exited because me and Isaac got go in the front. At first we had to go up a hill almost diagonal and then we went to the bottom of the hill which a lot of speed getting ready for the loop-to-loop, and then the part where you go up side down. Snitch was my favorite part of the roller coaster. There was also a short part ware you go in the the hotel. In part of the roller coaster my eyes were watering. Other then the Mirage and the roller coaster we didn’t do much. Until next time.

2020.11.07 Hershey’s chocolate world and M&M world by Isaac Shafer

The other day we went to Hershey’s chocolate world. It has all the Hershey brands. When we first walked in we saw a Statue of Liberty made from 800lbs of chocolate, or 8,258 chocolate bars! The actual Statue of Liberty weighs approximately 4,645,161 chocolate bars. There was also a Hershey chocolate wrapper designer, where you can design your own wrapper. Hershey’s  chocolate world is inside of New York  New York. Then we went to M&M world.  M&M World had lots of M&M dispensers. It also had M&M penny collectibles. It also had a “nascar” and in front of it was a M&M cardboard cut out. The place had lots of different types of shirts and Jackets. M&M world is next to the Coca-Cola area.

2020.10.19 Las Vegas by Isaac Shafer

19 October 2020 - We are in Las Vegas. We have done the strip twice. My favorite part about the strip was that you could go everywhere without leaving Las Vegas. Like you could see the Eiffel Tower lit up, or the Statue of Liberty wearing a mask and football jersey. There is a lot of good skateparks in Las Vegas! Soon we are going to go on an awesome roller coaster! I can’t wait!

 

Halloween by Isaac Shafer

 Halloween is coming in 13 days! We need to prepare. We’ve got our costumes so now we need the decorations, and maybe candy. We might be in Utah during Halloween, so we might have to look for a place to do trick or treating and/or trunk or treating. For Halloween I will be a fox, Ava will be a batgirl, and Isabella and Roxy will be a taco.

LEGOLAND HOTEL. By Ava Shafer

 Two weeks ago we went to the LEGOLAND HOTEL although we couldn’t go to the park. We could stay at the HOTEL. The first day we checked in than went to our room. The elevator was cool because they had a disco ball and they played music so we got to dance in the elevator. We were on the third floor which was the top floor of the HOTEL. When we got there we went Down the hall to the very end we were the very last room. When we went in we were so exited to be in our room. Our room was adventure themed. It had bunk beds Isabella called the top bunk and I called the bottom bunk. We were all confused 🤷🏼‍♀️ were Isaac was going to sleep than I found a trundle under the bunk bed. Isaac was exited to be sleeping on a Trundle. Than we went to the pool at the CASTEL 🏰 HOTEL. It was a really good pool. After that we were all getting a little bit well a lot a bit hungry so we went back to our room and got room service 🌮 I got a BURGER & FRIES 🍔🍟 the next day we went to the LEGOLAND HOTEL pool than we went to the LEGOLAND gift 🎁 shop and I Got a small LEGO set. Than we got in the car and left. we had such an AWESOME experience.

Camp Pendalton By Isaac Shafer

We are at Camp Pendalton which is on a military base. Our trailer is at the front row which is good because it’s closer to the beach. Well actually it’s on the beach! I’m probably going to go boogie-boarding with dad later. There is free Wi-Fi at the place. Oh and guess what! We got our tent out so last night we slept in it. This place is near lots of great places and of course skateparks!

DOG BLOG by “Roxy” Isabella

 This morning, we went to what I’m guessing was some place called Starbucks. I liked it there, because it was cool and sunny. I like to lay in the sun, and take naps. I never really thought about it, my people “owners” almost never take naps. I like to take naps to save up energy for my walk times. My walks are in the evening or sometimes in the morning. Anyway a few days ago, I went to my first official beach...but I did not stay long before they put me in the car. I have no idea why 🐶 Over all I have been pretty good. I have only barked at 2 dogs ok 3 dogs. Anyway, I like this vacation thing. Oh yeah...we also saw something...my owners called them Seals. They looked like wet dogs rolling around and they barked a lot... I didn’t know what they were so I barked at them as well. By Roxy-Isabella. WAIT!!! Who took these photos OF ME! RUDE.

The Beach In San Diego

 Yesterday we went to a Navy base beach on Coronado. It was fun and relaxing 😎. My brother went in the water with my Dad. He was body boarding for a while until my dad said he had to take a break and then he went back in. He had a good time out in the water. I stayed out of water relaxing. They had a red flag up so you were suppose to be careful about swimming because of currents and it was also really cold.

WATER WATER EVERYWHERE

When we were still in Nevada we went to a swim center but we had to have a reservation to go which we got on the fourth for the slide. We got 1 1/2 hours to go on the slide. It was so fun we went down the slide more then 20 times. My mom even went down.  At first we had to do 10 and then 15 and then 10 in 10 minutes it was intense but I made it we had an Amazing time. My favorite way to go down the slide is going down crisscross especially on the dip in the water slide. We were playing a game with my dad he was throwing balls at us when we came down and we had to catch them. In the water there was also a basketball hoop that we could throw the balls in. Wednesday

 On Wednesday we went to the pool in incline. It was heated the deep end is 10 ft deep. So they let us 

we waited for it to be 5:00. We played volleyball 🏐 me and Isabella were on a team and Isaac and dad were on a team. The girl team won against the boy team. We destroyed the boys.We Are going to make many more memories. I also played in the sand for a couple minutes. It was so pretty to see the lake. It had been foggy the other days. The next day it was foggy again.😕 it was the best.😁
