I-man

We haven't done a post recently of what this little cowboy is up to. Look at that great hat that Grandma  June & Grandpa Norm got him!  He is 2 years and 9 (almost) months old and going strong.  He has such a fun personality.  He is counting up to 20. This morning I went into his room to get him and he was counting to himself.  He is always good about hanging out in his room in the mornings till Marc or I get him.  He loves to play in his room and is very self-entertained.  He can also sing the alphabet and is starting to recognize more and more letters.  They did shapes a couple of weeks ago in pre-school and he is obsessed with circles and finds them everywhere we go and can draw them really well too.
He loves the movie "Cars" and wants to watch it all the time!  He likes to be outside without shoes and although he has a trike he picks this little car to ride on 9 out of 10 times.  He still loves to say the word NO but I am trying to at least have him say "NO thank you" instead of "NO WAY".  He has good manners and does say "thank you" and "please" a lot.  He knows a lot of words and says new things all the time.  He loves to play with his cars and trains.
He is a great big brother.  He is good about giving the girls toys to play with.  He likes to throw away diapers and is pretty good about putting things back where they belong.  He pays attention and knows where things go.  In general he is pretty neat and likes things where they belong.
He loves to take his little car and run it into things.  He especially loves to run into this flower bed.

He loves his little secret places and we find things in his pockets, in the drawers of the table by the sofa, in his backpack (which he loves to wear) and in this car.  He loves collecting rocks and sticks.

He has lots of energy and jumps and falls everywhere he can.  He "pretend falls" into the flower bed all the time.  He loves his milk and drinks a lot of it!!  He is a somewhat picky eater right now but his favorite things are yogurt and "fish" crackers.  Really, there is not a cracker he doesn't like.  He still loves most fruit...especially blueberries and strawberries!

Well, the movie "Cars" is on the TV, his train set is set up in the Living room and Isaac just went outside to ride his little car.  It is a typical morning around here and is never boring.  I am glad that "Cars 2" is coming out this summer.  He wore his Cars PJ's last night to bed that Aunt Brenda got him and he was LOVING them! :)  It's pretty easy to make a 2 year old happy!

*Marc is walking a 80km/50 mile walk today and we are so proud of him.  What a challenge!  We are going to go cheer him on at the half-way point (he will be walking for about 12 hours today)!

**Can't believe that Easter is TOMORROW, we have lots of pictures to share of our Easter egg hunt last weekend and they all have adorable outfits that they are wearing tomorrow! :)
