London Fun Part 1

Getting around London can be crazy, so we decided to do the public transportation option...of course we had to get the prepaid transit cards called an "Oyster Card" that added to our adventure.  We walked about 2miles to the bus stop, so the kids were liking the change of scenery.  Of course Isaac is always up for a bus ride...or train (that post will come)...

So we decided to check out the happenings...here was a fun first stop and quick walk thru Piccadilly Market...notice the rain cover on the stroller??? Yes, there were plenty of clouds circling about.

We figured that the Science Museum would be perfect for the kids (and free!).  There was a cool opportunity for a 3D Imax Wild Ocean (click the highlighted letters for a glimpse).  However, being there with the kids was it's own adventure.  We had a hard time keeping the clunker 3D glasses on the kids (iMan did the best); iGirl was all about squirming and dropping her glasses on the ground; and Ava-K was put off after an opening scene when the the shark comes right out at you....she SCREAMED and then didn't want to wear the glasses any more! :)

Since we basically walked right into the movie after getting to the museum, we needed a quick lunch/mid-afternoon nourishment...the apple sauce packets on the tray are always a staple...we never really know what the kids will like. Their taste buds are always changing, so we try a little of everything & see what gets eaten.

Isabella was liking sitting in the stroller, so we left her in there. She has a sweet smile on her face & was enjoying a couple of potato chips with some water.

After lunch, it was time to get hands on with interactive science...Water Ops! Can you think of anything better for little ones??? Lots of boats, streams of water, and all sorts of levers & wheels...let's just say that the plastic coats provided some protection, but the kids definitely got into the wetness of the operation.

Here's the whole Crew! iMan took the lead, but the Twix were close behind & picked up on the fun!

A couple of blocks down was the Natural History Museum that had a dinosaur exhibit...Cousin Jamie recommended it and we planned a meet up with her there...

Here she is!  We're glad she could take a break from studying to see us and show us around to some neat places...She gave us some awesome ideas and adventured with us as well...we loved having her with us!

En route to Princess Diana's Memorial Playground, we thought this was a cool shot to take when Jamie offered to capture the moment of the FAM! Isaac is crusin' in the back seat of the stroller 8-) Isabella upfront jamming' & Ava riding high in the backpack!

Kensington Palace all decked out end-to-end with beautiful flowers!

Princess Diana's Memorial Playground had such cool things for the kids...can you spot Cousin Jamie with iMan??? (look closely at the tube cage climbing up the mast)

Just to capture the iconic Big Ben for the kiddos! Cool green lights up top, eh?  The day was done....
