Happy Easter!

We started the day with Easter baskets.  Grandma June sent the kiddos these adorable baskets that the kids have been lovin'!  They have been carrying them around all week...it has been very cute.  We gave them a little Easter loot this morning and of one of the biggest hits was the chocolate. :)  I was also excited to dress Isaac in pink again this year...Marc doesn't seem to mind it on Easter. :) The girls are wearing dresses from Grandma Nadine.

Isaac showing off his new sunglasses.

Isabella also wanted to try them on. :)

After Easter baskets and a quick breakfast we headed off to Church.  It was cold out so we pulled out these adorable jackets that Aunt Brenda gave them.

The girls were enjoying their dresses. I love dressing up and I know Easter is about more then pretty clothes but it sure is fun to do.

Isaac made bunny ears at his Dutch school on Friday (have we told you about his Dutch school yet, no?...we will get on that).  He wanted to wear them today and he did!  Don't you love the tie?!

Isabella looking cute at Church.  Did we tell you this girl has been sick?  She pulled though for the morning but it was about here that we were all starting to go downhill...none of us got too much sleep last night because of this little one. :(

Ava has been on the road to recovery and is feeling much better.

She was sitting very nicely in this chair.  I love the green tulle under the dress.

Isaac and the bunny ears. :) They had a fellowship meal planned for after Church but we had to wait an hour and a half to meet with the other congregation.  We thought at first we could make it and we did try, but all was going down hill very quickly and it was very evident that the girls were needing to go home for a nap.  We did a back-up plan of McDonalds on the way home and it was a good thing because the melt-down was happening FAST!

I love this pic of Ava.  My head was pounding by this point...I think I mentioned that Isabella has passed her wonderful cold to me.
The only thing on the kids' minds when we got home was the M&Ms... so we did give them a few each and then it was off to bed!

After naps we had a little Easter dinner of ham, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, corn and biscuits.  Then there were more M&Ms for dessert. :)

The girls trying to share the chair.  There is no sharing of the M&Ms.

Cute smile.

Sharing smiles!
Happy Easter!!!
...our Easter continues onto tomorrow for Easter Monday.  Marc has the day off of work and we are going to a Easter Egg hunt in Belgium.  Be on the lookout for more pics and hopefully a better night sleep for all! :)
