Happy 2011!

Isaac loves to say 1,2,3...BLAST OFF...and that is what 2010 was like.   It was a rocket ship ride...we started it in Kansas; had a 4 month layover in Virginia; went on a much needed 2 month detour to California & Washington; and then the final destination for the next 3 years is the Netherlands!

Have you started the year out with any resolutions?  I was reminded recently from someone of how fast the baby years go by, so I think the best thing we can do this year is soak up Isaac and the girls being so little and just ENJOY THEM!  So that is our goal along with keeping up with this blog so that you can ENJOY them too! :)

 We have another goal this year of being outside more.  We live in such a beautiful area with more trails than we can count and we want to get out on them!  This is "our castle"(that is the one across the street from us with the moat) in the back of Marc, Isabella & Isaac.  Who wants to come stay in it?? 35 euro per person per night:) We are excited for visitors in 2011! **our place is free, minus dish washing:)

 It was a cold day so we didn't stay out long! Isabella is wearing Isaac's old reindeer outfit.

 How about an upside-down Ava?  She was in the carrier on my tummy and I was trying to get a picture.

  Isabella is such a great stander that we had to show you!

These 2 were the highlight of 2010!!!!  Don't you love the shirts that Aunt Brenda found for them?  They are a good reason to celebrate.  We took them to the Dr. today and the girls are doing great!  They continue to be on the same growth scale of other 6 month olds so that is wonderful.

Ava is right at 15lbs. (20th percentile)  

Isabella is right at 14 lbs. (9th percentile..she is the slender one). 

Both are right at 26" long (40th percentile) 

There was total confusion about their head sizes because the tech measured wrong and because of this the computer was saying that their heads had shrunk...all was worked out and their heads are fine.  :)
